AVAILABILITY. Every item offered is a single second-hand piece. Placing an order is an offer to buy, not a completed sale. All orders are subject to confirmation that the item is still in stock, and the contract is formed only when we confirm availability and dispatch the item. If an item is no longer available we will tell you and refund you in full.

DESCRIPTION AND CONDITION. Items are described as accurately as we can manage, with hallmarks transcribed and anything unproven stated as unproven. Stones and metals are not independently tested unless a listing says otherwise, and photographs form part of the description.

STAMPS - HOW THEY ARE IDENTIFIED. Identification, condition assessment and valuation of philatelic items on this site are produced by AI analysis of scanned images. No stamp has been examined in hand by a philatelic expert, and no authentication or certification has been carried out. Gum, thins, creases, repairs, re-perforation and cleaned or removed cancels frequently do not show in a scan and have not been ruled out. Catalogue (SG) numbers, plate numbers and shade attributions are indicative only. Mint stamps are described at mounted-mint level because gum cannot be assessed from an image. Stamps are sold as seen, and you are strongly advised to satisfy yourself independently and to obtain an expert opinion (BPA or RPSL) before relying on any attribution. This does not affect your rights under YOUR RIGHTS below.

RINGS AND RESIZING. Ring sizes are given as measured and resizing is not included in the price. If you ask us to quote for resizing we will email the quote within 24 hours and will charge nothing without your agreement.

QUOTES. Any quote we give for repair, resizing or restoration is valid for 30 days and is given on the basis of what we can see. If the work turns out to need more than quoted we will contact you before doing it.

WEIGHTS. All jewellery weights shown on this site are approximate, taken on our own scales and accurate to within 0.1 g. They are given as a guide to the metal content and are not a certified measurement.

YOUR RIGHTS. Buying here is a distance sale under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, and you may cancel within 14 days of receiving your order and return it for a refund. Nothing in these terms removes your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015: if an item is not as described you are entitled to a remedy regardless of any "sold as seen" wording.

RETURNS AND CANCELLATION. If you cancel under the 14-day right, you are responsible for the cost of returning the item to us, and we recommend a tracked service because the item remains your responsibility until it reaches us. We refund the price you paid together with standard outbound delivery; where you chose an enhanced delivery service we refund our standard rate only. We may withhold the refund until the item is back with us or you send proof of posting, and we may reduce it to reflect any loss in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to examine the item. Where we have resized a ring to your instructions it is made to your specification and the 14-day cancellation right does not apply to it, and once you ask us to begin that work you cannot cancel it once it is done. None of this applies where an item is faulty or not as described: in that case we pay return postage and refund you in full.
